Milton K. Reeder
Managing Partner
Milton Reeder is the founder and managing partner of Accent Capital Partners. He personally takes the lead role on all clients and works directly with the Owner/CEO. His philosophy is to become a "partner" with the CEO in the process of taking the company to the next level, helping not only on the financial side of the business but also assisting on strategic and tactical issues.
Mr. Reeder has served as CEO, COO and CFO of various companies over his 22 years of business experience. During that time he:
- has run seven public companies;
- successfully sold Meridian Industrial Trust (NYSE:MDN) to ProLogis for $1.5 billion;
- successfully raised private equity capital;
- completed two public equity offerings;
- merged five public companies together;
- obtained investment grade ratings on corporate debt, and
- financed over $1.0 billion in secured and unsecured debt transactions.
Mr. Reeder began his business career as a CPA for Deloitte Touche. He is a licensed real estate broker, and a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Urban Land Institute and the Association for Corporate Growth. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
James T. Given
Partner
Mr. Given is a business lawyer and executive with broad experience in corporate and commercial legal affairs, including, securities, intellectual property, financing, employment, environmental, real property, bankruptcy, and litigation supervision. He is currently adjunct general counsel to Geoworks Corporation, a public software consulting company, and Glimmerglass Networks, Inc., a venture backed developer of optical subsystems. Mr. Given has been counsel to: Good Technology, Radius, Intuit, Applied Materials, and Cadence.
Mr. Given started his legal career as an associate to Messrs. Farella, Braun & Martel in San Francisco. He received his law degree in 1979 from the University of California Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law. He completed his undergraduate work at Indiana University at Bloomington. Mr. Given is a member of the California Bar and a licensed real estate broker.
John Cirigliano
Special Advisor
Mr. Cirigliano is Chief Executive Officer of CLB Associates, a private equity firm. Since 1985, CLB has created hundreds of millions of dollars of added value for technology clients through the creation of Strategic Capital. Strategic Capital consists of corporate strategies, strategic relationships and other intangible assets that are employed to gain strategic advantage such as visibility, credibility, scalability, positioning or capacity to compete.
Mr. Cirigliano has more than 30 years experience in corporate finance and corporate strategy. He has advised and invested in dozens of emerging companies in a variety of industries including manufacturing, services, communications, software, hardware and Internet. Early in his career, Mr. Cirigliano spent 10 years at Merrill Lynch Capital Markets and served as a Managing Director. While at Merrill Lynch, he headed the team that developed a zero coupon convertible product that has had a virtual monopoly on that market for the last 15 years. That product generated over $25 billion in transactions and over $1 billion in revenues for the firm.
In 1986, Mr. Cirigliano turned his focus to strategic implementations that improve operations and raise equity values for emerging companies. He is a co-founder of Copaquen Associates, a computer software development and advisory firm and Corporate Property Investors, a large, privately held Real Estate Investment Trust, which is now part of Simon REIT. He received his A.B. from Columbia University and his J.D. from New York Law School. Mr. Cirigliano served as a Senior Advisor to "The Red Herring" magazine, and on the advisory boards of Outward Bound U.S.A. and The Endowment Trust. He currently serves on the Board of Digital Origin (DODV), a California-based digital video, streaming video software developer. DODV recently announced an agreement to merge with Media 100 (MDEA).
